I'm looking to buy a contour SVT and put my NOS kit on it. I've read the 99 and 00 SVT's don't have a vacuum controlled fuel pressure regulator.. is this true?? So, should I buy a '98 Contour SVT if i want to run my nitrous kit??????? I can't imagine a car not having a vacuum fpr. (shrug) Jeff OKC Streetracing Vids A recent pic of my Probe

(this will become standard on all new vehicles in the future - more reliable and easier to control via computer) You would need a wet nitrous system. (adds both fuel & nitrous) IMO I would not make your decision on what year SVT to buy just based on a cheap nitrous system... That's like saying I want to buy a Fiesta because I can re-use my 13" tires and wheel covers... 2000 SVT #674 - Check it out! Whoever coined the phrase; "If it ain't broke; don't fix it" ~ Just doesn't get it...
