I have a NOS dry kit for a mustang (#5115) currently running an 85 shot on my probe.

I'm looking to buy a contour SVT and put my NOS kit on it.

I've read the 99 and 00 SVT's don't have a vacuum controlled fuel pressure regulator.. is this true??

So, should I buy a '98 Contour SVT if i want to run my nitrous kit???????

I can't imagine a car not having a vacuum fpr. (shrug)

Yes some late model 99's and most 00 model contours have the returnless fuel system. (this will become standard on all new vehicles in the future - more reliable and easier to control via computer)

You would need a wet nitrous system. (adds both fuel & nitrous)

IMO I would not make your decision on what year SVT to buy just based on a cheap nitrous system...

That's like saying I want to buy a Fiesta because I can re-use my 13" tires and wheel covers... wink

2000 SVT #674 - Check it out!
