My wife wants to buy the apple speakers for her ipod to bring to work and play at home, so i was reading some reviews about BOSE and JBL and it seems people are just buying the namebrand and not actually testing them for what there worth..... Anyone own or have any thoughts on them? eyevancsu CEG\'er E Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 203 Houston TX	Ive never heard the bose speakers but imo they are very similar to audiobahn in quality. Its usually overpriced and its only for their name that it is. If you can compare the two you could be a better judge for quality (jbl or bose). -ivan

However in the case of those iPod speakers, I've heard both, and the Bose sound far superior. They're $300 though IIRC, which is utterly insane. For $150 she could get two good sets of computer speakers for home & work, and they'd sound better too! '99 Contour Sport V6 MTX
