I have a 98 svt and one of my rear sway bar brackets has broken off. I know I am going to have to drop the subframe to fix it right, but I am just asking for some advice that i might need on the way. Some info on how some people have fabricated their own mounts would be greatly appreciated. I would really like to only do this one time so please take a minute if you can.

thanks,
josh

Hey Josh. A company called ATI made a bunch of reinforced sub-frames for a group buy. They are now available from BAT at batinc.net.

If you're gonna do it yourself, perform a search under the suspension & group buy forums for 'ati sub frame' and read through the threads for some pictures. You might even be able to figure out what you need to do based on the BAT pictures.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
