Craig I am using Porterfield R4 pads. They are VERY expensive (190$US for fronts!!!). My rotors are stock and so are my lines and I only use DOT3 fluid.
Craig if you are interested in trying out the pads for a reduced price I might be looking to sell them at the start of the season next year when I get a brake upgrade. I am looking for more stopping power so that I can brake even later than I did over the weekend. I also need a firmer pedal so that I can heel n toe. I am sure that you found the session I took you on quite fast but believe me I left a lot on the track due to the fact that my car is not really beefed up for the track.
Evan in all honesty I did not notice any body roll in the car. It surprised me what it looked like from the photos. The car felt very planted and poised on the track. I had the Konis set at almost full soft for the event and they felt good.
Here comes my light hearted jab at Evan.... I guess my car should lean more especially when I brake later and carry more speed

Hey all in good fun. I still need to make more power as my engine is pretty close to stock and I have not done anything to stiffen the chassis (strut tower braces, sub frame connectors etc)
Aside from some temporary starter probs. the weekend went quite well and I have to say that I felt the best I have at a track event.
Many, many thanks to Laura and her merry crew for putting this event on.
