I own a 99 T-Red SVT and I haven't done any mods to increase it's performance. I'm trying to sqeeze another 10 or so hp out of the engine and I decided Ram air is my best option. I don't want to cut a hole in the hood and put a hood scoop, and I dont want to put a scoop under the nose because I think the car is low enough to the ground already. What are my other options? Could a put a scoop in the top or bottom grills? Any info. will be greatly appreciated.
- Thanks in Advance

There are plenty of other ways to get 10 hp out of your engine that would be some much easier than ram air.

1. KKM intake
2. Redo exhaust work: sho shop y-pipe, bassani or borla, custom, etc.

That will give you 10hp right there.
The KKM is under a $100, and the exhaust can be anywhere from 200-600$.

If you still want to do Ram Air, I'm going to do it as well....I'm going through the mesh part underneath the bumper. It's a pain in the a$$ to get to, but in the end it'll be nice I'm sure.
