how close to knoxville do you want????
there are some on here from east, middle and west TN.
nothing like what apparently goes on in the michigan chapter however. but maybe you are coming at the right time, with the right experience and can get something started!

good to see there's more people besides me!! that would be fun to meet up, i'll be down there sometime on sept. 3. i'll actually be living in lenoir city but i take exit 383 and go down northshore to get there, so i'll be in knoxville that day. i'll probably be working down that way as well, out by west town. i'll send a pm to one of ya when it gets closer to then! btw, how old is everyone? just curious!

I'm 42, but don't get concerned, I stay in Sweetwater for the Dragon Run so I won't cramp your style!

Hey as long as your rolling in a Contour you have style my friend.. Oh while i am on here, i might as well ask a few years ago there was a plastic model kit of either a Contour or a mondeo. Does any one remember it?  P.S i am not held responcible for any spelling mistakes for it is 9 am and i have'nt had my 2 pots of coffee yet.. so

i'm 24...i'll be 25 on october 30. i'm lookin forward to meeting everyone, my car should be almost as good as new by then!!! i'm gettin a different tranny put in next weekend and new front rotors and pads. i'll need 'em though, with the way i drive and all the twisties and hills that i'll have to put up w/ once i move down there!!! hehe

Biggity, I work on the corner of Northshore and Papermill in the 2 Dual Towers you can see from the interstate. As for the Dragon, if you're moving into the area and will be around for a bit, I guarantee you'll find yourself pulled to it one weekend. From the sounds of it, you like good driving roads and let me be the first to tell ya that E. Tennessee has some of the best.

Yes, we do have some of the best (or worst) roads around. As far as the dragon, I will never purposely take my car on it. It is too dangerous- period. I have been on it once, when my parents wanted to go a different way to get to Cherokee, NC. It was 1995 and we were in a brand new rental Contour. I thought those "turn around and kiss your butt" curves would never end. I never was so car sick in all my life. Blah.
