I will most likely be going to an autocross in Bristol on Sunday. It is time to burn up the old Mystique tires. I remember people saying they were intrested so here is the info- http://www.cartct.com/index1.php?center=home.htmThere are no loaner helmets at this event.

Funny thing is, I live in that town, they do it every Sunday, some of my friends do it, yet I've never done it or watched it. I should go this weekend.

SCCNH is holding theirs on Sunday as well, for the northern folk http://www.sccnh.org/events.htmI can't go to either of them That's been my luck ever since I got the strut tower bars on the Cougar - something always comes up on the Sundays I plan to go auto-x. Even at Cougarfest last year I had to miss the auto-x.

I probably won't do to well with the worn out 15s (Dunlop A2s) from the Mystique but it sure will be fun. I think the car is going to feel quicker accelerating with those light tires but I don't think the high sidewall and 205 size is going to help me in any corners. It will be intresting to see which cars will be in my class. I will report back and hopefully have a few pictures.

Well it was a good day to burn up some old tires. My brother and I both drove my car and ate up the old tires pretty good. Total runs for the car was 12. The Dunlop A2s didn't like to turn the car to well and I was even getting some drifting of the whole car. It was a pretty long course with my best run in the fun run at 62.XXX rest of the day was in the 63's. Fast cars were getting 55s I hit the rev limiter in 2 spots on the course but niether were worth shifting into 3rd for. Didn't do to well in the the class of cars I was in GS. Finished 7 out of 9 but I did beat my brother luckly. Maybe I will blame it on the tires.....I think almost everyone that beat me had Azenis or AutoX type tires so I don't feel to bad. I drove my friends Sentra with Azenis and what a difference it makes to have good tires and light car. Maybe I will get some Azenis next year for the 15s. I will post some pictues after I down size them.

It says no spectators on there web site but there were a few. I actually had a few people come talk to me about my car.
