Did you or someone else jack up the bac kof the car by lifting it by the rear trailing arms and bent them? If that are dead straight, that will cause all sorts of weird behaviour form the back end.

Lots of people stupidly jack up their car from those trailing arms thinking that they can support the weight of the car - which they can't, obviously.

Just look through your wheel and line up your lsight with the rear most trailing arm (it goes up and intto the middle of the car. if it is curved, then it's bent. But don't mistake itt's dog-bone shape for a defect.

Yeah, something is bent/broken. Things that come to mind, besides what stazi said, are:

Broken/bent suspension arms: any of them, espcially the rear. (does it feel out of alignment)

Broken front swaybar/mounts/endlinks (does it roll a lot more?)

Really messed up tire pressures (should be 32 all-around for a stock-ish car)

Could you describe the problem in a little more detail? If you jack it up and can't see anything wrong, a synopsis of the vehicle's handling characteristics would help significantly in a diagnosis.

I just had the alignment checked on all 4 wheel and it was fine, plus new tires 34psi front 32psi back, I had the same problem with the old tires I thouth it was that, but it is the same with the new ones, nothing looks bent. the guy at the alignment shop said every thing looks ok. When I accelarate slow in a long curve untill it is at its limit (in the rear) all of sudden the rear kicks out bad, I all most total my car last week because of that.

So it oversteers when you are on the gas? You don't pull your foot off the gas or hit the brakes, and the back end still comes out on you, very suddenly? What kind of tires do you have?

I never let off the gas or hit the brakes, I slowly give it more and more and the rear comes aroud.
Old tires (GOODYEAR F1 GS-DS 225/50/16) front 34psi rear 32psi
New tires (TOYO PROXES T1R 225/45/17) front 36psi rear 34psi
Both the same thing.

You need to get the car on a lift and check out everything. Wiggle endlinks, push on anything you can get your hands on. Eventually you'll find something loose.

What about your struts/spring? Coil bind could cause that problem, or a strut locking up.

And it can't be THAT sudden. Those tires are very progressive for being so sticky.
