Hi again - As the title says, I have a few questions about the IMRC, particulary the linkage and spring attached to the LIM. This is partly a follow up to my recent
Intake Manifold Blues thread...
1. After re-assembling everything from the lower and upper intake manifold cleaning, my suspicions that I screwed up the IMRC functioning were soon confirmed...
When the IMRC control box pulls the cable, does that open or close those extra inlets?
2. When I attached the IMRC spring and bracket back to the lower manifold, there was an L shaped piece of wire/cable (perhaps the end of the spring)
Is this the piece that puts tension on the spring, and if so, where does it go?
3. Final question -
Does anyone have any pictures or diagrams of the IMRC spring, bracket, and connector in their proper place? (yes, i searched first!
)
