Well I would suggest looking at the search feature (upper right on screen) to find your answer. Some of the old-timers laugh on here can get really upset about people rehashing old threads that have already been discussed in detail. Just trying to warn ya, I got flamed on my first few posts because I did'nt use it! Not a fun experience, LOL.

I believe, to partially answer your question, that I saw a recent thread that gave step-by-step instructions of how to perform the exact operation you are inquiring about. Sounded like a coupla hour job.

Regards, Sam

I just did it, only about half an hour. To really do it properly you may have to take the whole plastic liner out of the wheelwell. Some manage without this but they may leave pieces of plastic behind, depending on what variety of resonator they have in there.

From the mods how-to section.

An hour should be plenty of time. I got everything cleaned out with just a few fenderliner screws removed. Can't go wrong with the above instructions.... good detail.

I didn't even remove the fender-well lining. Simply unbolt the airbox from t-body and maf, lift airbox out, take 2 screws off from the fender (in the engine bay). Then use a screw driver to separate the resonator from the air feeder. Take out the air feeder (you'll know what I'm taking about), and then remove the resonator. It may take a while to remove the resonator, but just keep trying pulling it out at different angles- it will come out.

Midas exhaust (grr...), Sony CD player, K&N airfilter, Mobil One Synthetic Oil, removed intake resonator, modified MAF, in-fender CAI, painted grill, Platinum tipped NGK's.

I am looking for SVT E0's or E1's, SVT Upper & Lower Intake, SVT Throttle Body, and SVT Exhaust. If you are selling, e-mail me!
