I got home after having my front struts installed at a local shop.
Drivers side turns just fine...about one half turn back from full stiff
But the pass side wont budge with my brand new knob.
Both rears turn just fine as well
I took a pair of pliers and was able to turn it slightly forceful into the position I wanted it to. They ride awesome and I just put 375 miles on them with a trip to Oklahoma City...nothing blown.
Ideas?
Also ever since I did my rear suspension I have this rattling in the rear like my strut is loose. Is that my rear sway bar that is loose?

Is there a banging noise when you go over bumps? If so, it sounds like you've broken a sway bar mount. Welcome to the club...

Great to hear you're putting them to good use, & other than a bit of a sticky adjuster, you're enjoying them. Most likely adjustment tab/shaft is just sticking a bit. I don't think it will be a big deal as you shouldn't need to adjust them very often. I never had to adjust them. When I first got them installed, I doubled checked that they were at the softest setting & let 'em go. Otherwise, sounds like the strut shaft or threaded shaft section may be dented or damaged. Inspect them. Mechanics with air tools can get a little eagar sometimes. (I hope nothing happened during shipping )
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

Well they all 4 are great. No damage on shipping because all 4 could be adjusted in my room before I installed them. The clunking is most likely a rear sway bar mount, mine were looking hidious anyways and I was just hoping they would hold out a little bit longer...but I guess not. So as long as I can move it, despite being sticky, that strut is ok? Thanks again for the struts, you have no idea how awesome it is not compared to my destroyed struts...or maybe you do

Yep, the struts should be just fine as long as they're not leaking oil. Might want to double check the retaining nut on the sticky strut to make sure it's not TOO tight. If they were OK on delivery, then I'd suspect the install was a little rough. Air tools can be a godsend or a curse.

Check for leaking oil. My adjustment tab was stuck and unable to move after the threaded part snapped. It could be that the Strut top nut was overtorqued. Bob at Koni told me that they should only be tightened to 37ftlbs. If you snapped that threaded part then your strut will slowly leak oil and go bad. If that is the case you should get the mechanic who installed them to pay you the $118 it costs to get a new one from Koni. Snapped threads are not covered under warranty, but they might help you out just this once.
