OP twocontours New CEG\'er T Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 16	I'm in the middle of a motor replacement due to overheating (for details see "96 contour possible blown motor" in troubleshooting). When I broke the joint at the output of the Y pipe cooloant/oil came out (about 1/2 cup). Do I need to do anything to clean the catalytic convertor? It also blew oil/coolant into the intake manifold but that will be replaced with the new motor. I will clean the MAF sensor etc. Any suggestions? Mike

There is a chance that the oxygen sensors have been damaged from the coolant. You can wait and see or you can change them while they are more accessable. I would probably wait and see.
