i cant find a how to or post on this can any one help. sorry if i mised it.

I'm afraid I don't know what a vertical a-arm is. We have two horizontal a-arms that serve to locate the front wheels, is that what you mean? Search for LCA (lower control arm) if that is the case: beware, there are two kinds of arms, your car could have either.

?He could be referring to the same thing you are, just that the two difference LCA's have either a vertical set of mounting holes, or a horizontal set...

I dunno..

Ah, yeah, that makes sense. If you are looking for how to swap the ones with the vertical bolts, I have a write-up somewhere I'll post for you. Basically, I cut the bolts off where they wouldn't come, and put the new ones in from the bottom.

yes i have the lower control arms with the vertical bolts. i want to replace them with out droping the sub frame. could some one link me to a how to the one i found used to have pics but now its not there anymore.

Okay, all the LCAs have vertical bolts. One just has vertical bushings. The horizontal bushings are the four bolt.
