Hey all,

I couldn't figure out my password for the account I created on here years ago so don't flame me as a noob, I've been here since last time I maintained an SVT Contour registry. A lot has changed over the years but I've created a new registry recently and would love for you to join.

Thanks to all the people who have attempted to promote the site here already, I appreciate it, but I also wanted to invite everyone personally, so please e-mail me at svtregistry@gmail.com or post your info right here, I need the following to add you to the list:

1. Picture of your SVT Contour
2. Year and SVT build #
3. Your first name and state you're from
4. Mod list, web site, photo gallery, or anything else you wish to post.

Check out the site now: www.myroadtrip.net/svt (I'm trying to get SVTregistry.com back but its a hassle so I might register something else to replace it, like SVTregistry.org perhaps, make it a not for profit organization?)

thanks,
--Russ

Somebody needs to update Toadster's little registry, that is the most complete I have ever seen.

what happened to his site anyway?

I remember when I started mine in 2001 his was already very popular.

Mine's different though, mine is more about the cars, sort of a gallery for each car and based on build numbers and years. Plus mine covers the full SVT line up.

It was a cool site though, a lot of people that joined his joined my site as well.

Toadster's website (http://toadster.homestead.com/) still exists, although it is now terribly out of date, what with the transfer of SVT ownership through the years. In 2001-2002, it was definitely the most complete registry around. He now owns a Mazda 6 and recently demoted himself from moderatorship here

I promised to take things over from Toadster, and I have to admit I kinda dropped the ball. If I can friggin remember I'll get it updated with the data he has; I was also working on a way to have people update their own information and have it approved, kind of like how the CEG profiles work.
