While in the store buying cookies someone in a big truck felt the urge to try to back over my car. well long story short i need to know if a contour hood and grille will line up with a 99 mystique's headlights. and if not then will contour lights fit into my mystique fenders. any help you might be able to render is very appriciated.

correct me if im wrong, but if you have a mystique cant you put the bumper/hood/lights/fenders from a contour on (i mean all together). or vice versa? i know just swaping one wont work, but could you just do all of them?

you'll have to swap the fenders also because the lights are different, i do belvieve so.

fenders are the same on post 98 contours and mystiques.

Yeah,the pre98 Mystique's have the rectangular wraparound lights. In 98,they went to the same shape as the contour. You should be able to swap a Contour hood,grille,lights and bumper onto your post98 Mystique no problem. If you only swap the lights or something,they won't line up with the grille etc,everything will be out of whack.
Your best bet is just go on ebay,you can get lights,grilles and bodyparts cheap. Or if you can go to a wreckers and get a whole contour front end cheaper,then do it.

Just out of curiosity would a post 98 tour, hood/lights/fenders/bumper fit on a pre 98 tour?

I think that was covered a long while ago and IIRC they wont
