Hey guys...

I have a 1999 Contour SE.

My driver seat has sunken and the lumbar back support is bad also.

I went to a shop and they want almost $300 to repair it!

Any recommendations how I can repair the seat and back support by myself.

Thanks

Maria

Elaborate more.
Is it a power seat? I am assuming it is.
Is the switch bad itself?
Is the seat hardware broken?

Maybe you could look around at a junkyard and see what you could get off another seat to help you fix yours. Much cheaper than a shop if you could do it yourself.

No, there is not lumbar support and it's a basic manual control. Forward and backwards and tilt the back support...thats all.

Go dig around in a u-pull-it junkyard. You should be able to find one.
