Ok, here's the deal, I have done an Exhaustive search (no pun intended) On CEG and out on the internet and even called places in 5 different states trying to find what I need, Now I am asking you, my fellow CEG'ers for help.

I am looking for the following Camshaft specs for a 1999 Contour 2.0L Zetec w/VCT

Intake Valve Overlap (BTDC)
Exhaust Valve Overlap (BBDC)

Intake Valve Clearance (ABDC)
Exhaust Valve Clearance (ATDC)

Any help in either finding those or pointing me in the right direction for finding those would be a great help for me.

Also If anyone knows what the induction flow is for our motor would also be a help (IE: ???.? cfm @ ?.?? inHg)

Thanks again!!

It's getting old, but I can e-mail you mine. The last time is was updated was February '04. I don't think much has changed for the Zetec since. My comparison has 40 different cams with all of the specs.

You have solid lifters and can only use an intake cam with VCT. If you disable VCT, then you can use an intake and exhaust cam. BTW, Pre-98's use hydraulic lifters and 98+ use solid lifters.

**EDIT**

Here it is.

I fixed my TWC RR account.

**EDIT**

BTW, I have the head flow specs for the FRPP Zetec head at a specific lift. Would that help?

HTH,
BP

Suh-weet. Glad I could help. BTW, if you find any new info/suppliers, I'd be happy to update the file.

Sure! I'll see if I can free up some room and post the original Word .doc file also.

Ok I was wrong. I found out that the c in IVC stands of Intake valve closing, and I'm not sure but I think It needs it in degrees. So I still need these readings

Intake Valve Overlap (BTDC)
Exhaust Valve Overlap (BBDC)

Intake Valve Closing (ABDC)
Exhaust Valve Closing (ATDC)

I am trying to build a stock profile in desktop dyno 2000

by the way If anyone has a manual for this program it would help alot as well.

Can you determine it using the stock duration and lobe seperation specs?

Lobe seperation=111 degrees
Intake duration=229 degrees (at .006")
Exhaust duration=229 degrees (at .006")

heck, I was wrong again, I really should check before typing, sorry.

It's Intake valve opening and
exhaust valve opening not overlap DUH!

and what ever the input should be it only goes from -25.0 up to 50.0 on intake valve opening

-10.0 to 95.0 on exhaust valve opening

-10.0 to 95.0 on intake valve closing

-25.0 to 50.0 on exhaust valve closing

sorry again and thanks for any help you can offer.
