When driving no more than 10mph, when I let go of the accelerator to slow down a little (suppose there's a bump ahead), the car stumbles - a pretty violent shock.. Nothing like this occurs at any other speeds/situations..

I had an excessive EGR flow CEL.. I just fixed it and it turned out to have nothing with this problem (I thought it would)..

I had my ATX recently completely rebuilt and I still have warranty on it. Does this sound like a transmission problem?

Mine does exactly the same thing. It's just downshifting from 2nd to 1st. I'd assume it's just that the lower gear slows the car down abruptly. Again, I doubt it's a big deal, my car has done it since it was brand new. If it's severe, you might want to check into the fluid pressure. I believe there's a transmission fluid pressure regulator that is supposed to smooth out shifts. I'm no expert on ATXs, you may want to check in the other forum.

Sounds like this might be one of the classic symptoms of the "bang shift" is what CD4E owners like to call it... Basially the Shift sensor on the side of the transmisson is calling the wrong shots when it comes to down and upshifts... Easy fix, you can get the updated shift sensor for about... $25... Even if this isnt the case, its a good thing to have because it makes the trannie last longer.
