Chris, I am definitely interested in the turbo. I almost bit on the vortech supercharger, but realized after reading several posts that all the power was up top. I'm quite happy with my top end, I more interested in some low end giddy up. I'm currently saving for headers and a new exhaust, but will gladly swap for a reliable turbo. Hey wait a minute, Is there such a thing as a reliable turbo?

My car stopped running because I drove with the heat gauge maxed out. It's only happened 3 times today. Is that bad? Should I add some water - it was empty when I looked" "And should the dipstick be dry when you pull it out?" Congratulations sir, you just created a 300lb paper weight...

Congratulations sir, you just created a 300lb paper weight... I had a scary thought this morning, along the lines of what you are saying. I spent last night changing rubber brake hoses on the 87 Buick because I observed a few cracks in the outer portion of the hose. (No fluid leakage, just the beginning of surface cracks.) Bled the brakes, etc. This morning I'm thinking, how many of the yahoos that tailgate even know the condition of their brakes. This is why I do as much of my own maintenance as I can. So I can catch stuff before it gets bad. I don't want to get suprised by anything, if I can help it. So I'm under every car at least once a month, and I go over them for lights, fluids, etc every weekend. I guess this is part of my Army training where you had to PMCS every vehicle before it moved from the motor pool. I was a very good motor pool officer. Cheers, TB

You can count me in for one, assuming that hte price is reasonable for (I mean reasonable for a custom turbo).
Let me know the price and performance gains and I'll send a check.

I am VERY Interested in a Turbo for my 2000 SVT Contour. Let me know the prices. Around X-Mas time last year someone was making a turbo for our cars and I never heard anyting again, they say it was over 4,000 bucks and that was like the stage 2 kit your talking about. They also said that you need to get a Quilfe. and if produce about the same HP as the SC from Vortec. I wonder if this is that same guy? Let me know.
