Just checking:

The bang for the buck intake is

everything on this page:
http://spmotorsports.com/ATCcontour_intakes_components.html

and this:

http://www.ajusa.com/cgi-bin/knfilters/details?part_num=RU-3530&lookup=1&ajr_skey=aeb485fdbcf7f7bb6a198e5770e8fd7d

and a homemade heatshield.

Correct? And I'll get maybe 5hp on the top end with stock exhaust, louder intake sound (vroom!) and no negatives at all?

Great. Looks like that's number one on my list of mods to get to this winter.

How did you move the IAT?

drilled a hole in the rubber acordian tube and shoved it in, make sure you drill a hole thats smaller than the iat so you get a good seal

I didn't think that rubber was all that thick. I could be wrong.

For the price of doing it more robustly, it's worth doing to avoid an air leak downstream of the MAF.

Most people forego the "kit" in favor of a 35 cent "T" and a length of hose, which they probably have lying around, anyway. (Prices made up on the spot.) If you're ordering the MAF adapter anyway, you're already paying shipping, too.

Ordered! Now I need to fab up a heatshield...

If I put the K&N sticker on my car, how many more hp do I get? 20?
