I am still running the blow through setup with no problems and the engine still runs fine. IT has been several weeks this way now.


ATX MTX swap, rear drum disc swap, drilled rotors, ported intake, optim throttle body, CAI, 7.5L MAF, adj. fuel regulator, longtube headers, underdrive pulley, no EGR, low inpedence bigger injectors, 2002 Focus Swap

Great, but it still isn't ideal and you know that. If it was, you'd be able to run some decent boost. Fix your issues and you'll be able to.

I totally agree I just need to stop spending so much money on my girl friend, but I love her so its hard.

Of the car, not your girl. Engine bay shots preferably. Of course if you want to have your girl pose on the car, like in a bikini, pointing at the turbo that's cool too.

OK I can do better I got a small video that two guys I met on the highway in a red zx2 took. The video is before I converted to the blow through setup so the car doesn't run so rich that when revving it up it makes the curb black anymore and it also free rev boosts more quickly. Heres the link the video is about 2 months or less old.

1. Very restrictive intake piping
2. Rolling shots would have been better.

I don't think the size of the piping is as important in a turbo vs a SC. Turbo's with bigger intake piping don't see as big a gain as JRSCs with bigger intake piping. At least in the post turbo piping, in piping from the air filter to the turbo, I've got 3" pipe there. From the turbo to the TB though, I don't think it's as big a deal.

Not too shabby, but a steadier hand on the camcorder would have been nice.

man im in love a zetec mystique turbo i wish i could do that...how much did it run u and was it hard ot tune..and somehow ur can runs much cooler than mine mine always heats up..good job though i like it
