what you have ther is an insert for the front roll resistor located behind the radiator on the subframe. The inserts do absolutly nothing, i had them in my car before doing my solid poly rear and noticed absolutly no diference. i replaced them with a solid poly front after doing my solid poly rear. if you don't mind a little extra noise and vibration in the cabin, solid poly is the only way to go on the roll resistors. ask the 40+ people i've sold them to

Not true. They ES inserts stop the typical driveline lash during shifting. That's a nice upgrade for many folks that think excessive NVH is bad.

It was not broke; Yet I fixed it anyway.

demon is def. right on this one. I put them in years ago and noticed a big difference. It didnt eliminate wheel hop like i was hoping but it did help. I realy hated that "bucking" when you were in low gear and you would get on/off the gas, and thats were the inserts realy shined.

if they do actually do anything, the effects are minimal, after installing them months ago prior to any other roll resistor changes, i noticed no diference from stock....i am not a believer

I thought about it a little more and I am ready to revise this one. back in the day when I first installed the insert I thought that the difference was noticeable. I felt like shifting became more precise for example... so it's not useless altogether.
it is absolutely useless as far as wheel hop is concerned (which was not as much of a problem before I switched to g-force sport tires)
so I guess I agree w/ Demon AND Pole
