i am looking to get a new muffler for my 98 contour sport and i was wondering if the flowmaster 60 series is a good buy or any other suggestions on mufflers

I PM'd you with this response & more...:
SVT exhaust with a 5x8 Magnaflow in the resonator spot. Faint rumble at idle, really wakes up when the foot goes down.

im running the magnaflow #14821 which seems to be pretty popular with the CEG.
Its a 2.25" inlet, 4" tip outlet, 6" diameter body, and 14" long.
Here they are on another svt.
Perhaps Stazi will chime in since he's the Magnaflow guy around here. To me, all those chambers in the Flowmasters would seem to restrict airflow, where as the Magnaflow's are straight through.

Yep, I have three resonators which are straight through Magnaflow. I highly recommend.

I switched to magnaflow...then 24 hours later I spun a bearing...for the brief time I've had it on...I've loved it!
