I have a 1998 ford contour svt...

my mods are
bassani cat back
fidanza flywheels
centerforce stage 1 clutch
b%m short throw shifter
B&g lowering springs
kyb gr2 struts
kkm intake


and today i was around my computer and found the blue speed chip.. but

see heres the thing..

i can only run a 15.5 quartermile time..
my car is slow..

the only problem i have is when im driving sometimes the throttle revs up and down back to idele then its done but what could be wrong with my car?? i know there are svts with less mods running alot faster mid 14s.

any help would be greatfull. thanks

You state that you run a 15.5, but you give no slip, nor any details on 60' times, etc.

At first guess, assuming your car is running well, I would state that it would be operator error. Simple things like driving skill, or practice.

Try giving a few more details, like a slip, or details from your run... possibly a dyno graph if you've had one done..
