OP 99SPORTSE_dup1 New CEG\'er 9 Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 20	Hows it going everybody? I seem to have a problem with my 99 contour. Its giving off the code p0402. What can I do to fix this? The light has been coming on and off for a while now. I just didnt have money to fix it. Now I do, so I really want to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

swdubs Newbie S Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 3	0402 code is low EGR flow, I replaced the EGR Valve Position Sensor, on the V6 it is mounted directly under the EGR valve. Cleared the code and it has not returned. My local Ford dealer had 7-10 in stock (Maybe they are replacing these on a regular basis). Before buying the one from Ford I tried NAPA, but they didn't have any.
