Does anyone on here own one ? They were built from 97-2003. Cane with a 4.4 V8 and put out 282 hp and 324 tq, 0-60 in 5.5, and 1/4 in 13.9. I saw one the other day and fell in love. Just wondering what people think about them.

They are great cars, one of my all-time favorite sedans. Great handling for the size, smooth and powerful. Very costly to maintain however...

Agreed on all points.
I would add that the seats were too narrow - even when I weighed in at 185. Good executive commuter car, but don't take a trip in it. The stock factory tires were garbage in the rain. Make sure you have money left for fresh meats & an overhaul of the steering system. The dealer techs often "forget" that they take special PS fluid & put in DOT 4 or standard PS fluid. The seals swell & you get noisy, jerky steering and leaks.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
