I have not seen it done on any pre98s,but I've seen post98's with the amber refelctor removed from the turn signal.
I tried doing this on my '95,so I took out the lens, seperated it from the housing and tried to remove the amber reflector several ways before I ended up breaking the lens in half. I tried prying it off, cutting it out and some other stuff, but prying at it mostly just made it crack and break where I was prying and little chunks of reflector would fly at me.
Anyone know of any way I can remove the reflector? Heat? Anything? I think it would look really nice to have completely clear turn signals lenses on the front of my '95.

Our reflector is fused into the lens. It cannot be removed, as you found out, with the same methods as the 98+ cars. Stolontour built a set of clears awhile ago and Plastique_synthetic has made Mondeo corners fit his.

Thanks guys.

yeah,a dremel is one of those tools I've been dying to buy, since it seems like every mod we do to our cars requires the use of one!!!

I did it on my test corner, it takes a lot of work but def. looks good. You just dremel it down till there is a thin layer of orange left then sand that layer till it's clear. Stolon sent me directions a long time ago and that is how he did his. It's easy, just time consuming.
