Would their be any difference if i were to buy flowmaster 40 series instead of magnaflow mufflers. The magnaflow mufflers already have a nice tip and what not but i was wondering which one would sound better. im looking for a sound that's really mean as well as not too raspy. The magnaflow mufflers i was looking at are the racing series ones.

Go to the pics forum and check out the Magnaflow Exhaust I got hooked up for my buddy's SVT. I can get you those muflers for cheaper than any exhaust shop. It sounds deeper than flowmasters, they sound raspier.

I have vibrant mufflers in my setup, no rasp at all.
It's all about balance.

Do you guy mean that if i were to get a flowmaster than it would sound really really raspy. or are you saying that the magnaflow mufflers would be more raspy than the flowmaster?? and with the magnaflow mufflers how much do they cost, do you think they would be more than the flowmaster 40 series??? remember that i'm looking for a really nice v-8 sound without any rasp.!!!!

TruJapSimple english: FLowmaster sound raspy Magnaflows sound very deep. Wontgrowup, I can get Magnaflows just like the one pictured on I-Dom-In-8's car, they cost around $180-200 for the fancy double tips and come in 3" 3.5", straight, slashed, rolled, single wall, double wall, DTM etc. just go to http://www.Magnaflow.com and check out what they have. Let me kow the part number and I'll get you a price. The one on Chuck's car (silversvtE1) that I posted pics of in the Pics and Videos forum are $120 each.
