Hello all, I am going to wet sand my headlights tomorrow to get the hazing off, but I need to know how to get the headlight out. I have a 99 CSVT. Is it just the two little screws on top? Or are there other screws I need to take out too?

I just want to find out before I start doing it.

Thanks in advance.

2 screws on top, and then one that is on the bottom, pretty much dead center on the headlight. Be careful not to drop the screw once it's out.

you dont have to take the 3rd screw all the way out (it just fits into a slot that is open on the back). i just loosen it a fair bit and leave it in there. just be sure that the washer makes it back on top of the headlight support where it should be on the re-install.

if you want to fully remove the screw, just magnetize your screwdriver so the screw sticks to it upon removal.

It's quite an easy job. Should only take a few minutes to get both out. I had my mystique's lights out so many times I could do it with my eyes closed, lol.

Don't need torx. Just use a large flat head instead.

+2...but you do need a Torx when aligning them.

Speaking of aligning them, I tried to look up how to align them, but I couldnt find a how-to. Can anyone tell me how to align the headlights? Or even how to tell if they are aligned correctly?
