So my rack seals have gone on my steering rack, and I was wondering where the best place to get a new one is. I've seen these sites:

powersteeringpros.com

http://www.carsteering.com/addtocart.asp?year=1998&make=FOR&model=CON&modelname=Contour&cnsuffix=WITH%2015"%20WHEELS&part=80-00341

http://steeringrack.com/product_info.php/cPath/1/products_id/3984

I don't have a lift, just jack stands. Therefore I don't believe I will be able to do this job myself. I'd prefer to obviously get the best for the money. Some have 3 year/lifetime warranties but a lifetime warranty is not good if I have to pay 300 in labor to get it replaced after it was just put in or something.

Best place to get rack?

Could I do this job with 2 guys and jack stands, if so how long would it take?

Thanks!

Doesn't replacing the steering rack involve pulling the front subframe? An actual car hoist and air tools would help a lot.
