I have made a test run of the gears two weeks ago and ended up having to make a minor/major adjustment to the molds. There might have been a post here about it. I now have the molds back and I made five (5) new gears to send out. I am pretty sure they are ready but I would like to send these five out and have them tested out to the full extent. The first is already spoken for but the next four (4) who email me directly will get the next ones. After these gears are approved, I will go into full production and there will be enough for everyone.

To order the gears, send an email directly to me at:

sales@odometergears.com

Include your name, address and phone number where I can reach you.

I will call you back to get a credit card from you. DO NOT EMAIL YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO ME!! The price will be $65/gear. Sorry I couldn't get the price down. If you want to know why it costs so much, just do a search and you will see all of my past posts on the subject.

If all goes well, the rest of the gears should be available in about three weeks. It is very important this process goes this way so I don't get calls later with broken gears. I don't want repeat customers unless they have new cars. Of course I will always stand behind all my products so if you are ever unsatisfied, call for a full refund(anytime).

Thanks all. I look forward to helping all of you out. You have been a great group to work with over the past two years on this project.

I'm sorry... I thought that those who sent in THEIR gear were going to do the test runs in full, in exchange for sending their's in.

Now we have to RACE to get one of the four test ones?

Thanks for the reply all. Ray already knows this because I called him but to be clear with the others, he is definitely getting a gear from me along with his motor back. I had the first response which was a good one. As far as I could tell, the first gear is working. The switch just needs to be adjusted. Is there an FAQ on the site about assembling the sunroof motor? I would love to add a link and also a bunch of people probably could use it since the roof hasn't been working for quite sometime in many cases.

More to come as the information is given back to me.

Thanks all.

Any idea when this will be going foward for everyone? I need one of these really badly. I took my motor apart today to try and fix it since not having a sunroof is driving me nuts. I am driving around now with a set of pliers to open it.
