i have no input either way..if you want to do it, do it, if you don't believe in doing it, don't.

Wow. I applaud you for being able to stick around after that fiasco in the dyno&drag forum. I was starting to feel bad there for a while as I wanted to have a little fun but some people went a little far.

Just lay low with the so-called "wins" that you get so that stuff doesn't start up again. Also, search before you post.
I'm only trying to save your butt again by telling you this. Every question you have posted has been covered ad nauseum. That way if you have a stupid question you can look to see the answer before you get people going again. In a few months you will have learned enough to ask 'the right' questions and it will all smooth out.
Oh, and cut springs is a big one that if you search you will find lots of information.

Wow, since we've already covered Bosch +4s and cut springs, maybe you'll try the e-bay coilover thread next? Or the resistor "chip" thread? Or the "turbonator"? Maybe you should post about the Phantom Grip LSD?

Cutting/ Heating springs to lower a car are the worst possible things you could do, unless you have a fine tuned knowledge of how it will work (99% of the time it'll suck) then don't even touch it, but if you ever decide to ghetto-lower cutting is the better, although still a stupid choice. if you heat springs it will continualy lower the spring rate, which will over time lower the car more and more since you've weakened it's original integrity.

I cut mine with no regrets...one coil. Rides great handles well...in fact Horse could attest to the handling of my car around a 270 degree on ramp with a nice little Focus next to me
