Hey,

On my 96 tour I have the little lcd clock with the typical blown out backlight. I was wondering if there is a way to get the time to display on my stock ford radio. In my other ford, when iturned off the radio, the clock displayed, or when the radio was on, after i tuned into a channel, the station display would turn back to the clock after about 7 or so seconds.

Any ideas??

Thanks!

Chris

on Fords WITHOUT a OEM clock indash (like 99+ Contiques), the factory headunit has a clock built in.

on Fords WITH a clock indash, like yo's, the headunit doesn't have the clock functionality.

My deck is from a 99 in my 98 & its a booger to keep the clocks synco'd, especially with this damn OCD OCD OCD OCD OCD OCD OCD

Get a new bulb or clock //or// swap your deck for a nuther that was in a car w/o a factory clock.

Thanks for the reply

I think i'll just get a new bulb for the clock. I also have to do the bulbs in the door handles.

Fun Fun...

might wanna look into searching this site for fitting LED's in the door handle lights instead of buying demdamn bulbs. I did the lighted door handle retrofit on my 98 a few years ago. the bulbs just dont last, especially if you have "shorties" slamming the doors every freaking time you turn around. with the LED's, you can do different colors if you wanna. its a matter of taste, but I like the green the best. maybe its just the frequent sinus infections?
