I changed my O2 sensor on the 4th of July(God bless America) and although the how to was vague, it made a difficult job easy and painfull. My forearm is still swollen from jamming it down between the engine and firewall, but it only took an hour and five minutes. That time included talking to my nephew and taking a soda break inside the house. I'd have to say the next time I could probably do it in a half hour, no kidding. However, I hope I never have to again.
In any case, thanks CEG and thanks how to guy.

The soda was your problem. Doesn't the How-to address this specifically? Anyway, beer helps numb the pain. Keep that in mind for next time.

I replaced both of my upstreams this past weekend along w/ a full tune up. WOW! They make a difference. We did both O2's, plugs, wires, fuel filter, pcv, oil change, and air filter in 1hr 45min. But we were hussling! lol

No reason to hustle. Most of the experienced CEGer' can probably do a lot more faster with their eyes closed. But they do it often.
I would "measure twice and cut once" as I am very inexperienced in many of the Contour issues. Just my 2 cents.
