Come on now cut QUICKSILVER some slack. So what if the story is not true,BIG DEAL, you don't have to give the man hell. If he is a liar so be it and if not so be it also. Also if the man wants to express his opinions on the ROAR, which I plan on getting myself, that's his right just because you don't like the roar and u all like KKM, well all I can say is keep your damn KKM.

I knew Quicksilver didn't know what he was talking about from the complete misinformation he was handing out about synthetic oil in another thread. It looks like he's always got to over-justify everything he did or knows.

Anyway's any of you don't beleive me, hey that's fine with me, the moral of this was the fact that the Roar is a great intake that deserves some look into. That incident with the Camaro, as you could see came up after this topic was already posted. If I really wanted to make up a bullsh1t story I would of done it from the start.

For those of you who are interested in the Roar, which is the topic of this post, it is a well designed product. It exceeds the performance standards of the KKM and down the road if you tune your intake and exhaust to a higher level, than you'll definately appreciate the Roar. The nice thing I'd like to say about the Roar is that it straightens the Air flow as it enters the intke tract, unlike the KKM which creates very unstable air as it enters. That can also explain why my car definately accelerates quickly on the high end!!!

Well i just would like to add a little bit to this. Many things happen that people do not understand or believe. I got reamed about this contour my friend had that had ferrari badging on it and i thought it could be a blown ferrari v-6 but no one gave me any slack on that one. Obviously in a straight out drag from stop position a z-28 would stomp a contour. I also know that if a contour were to be accelerating before a z28 on a freeway then it would not be that easy for one to catch up. I have raced many cars that were slower than mine but if they accelerate very far before me then i have a hard time catching up. Not to say that this happened but maybe he just blew by the z-28 and when the guy punched it, it was too late. Also the driver makes a huge difference. I raced a mustang gt from stop and i beat it, only and i repeat only because i could drive better. A z-28 is 6 gears right. Maybe when they started he was in the wrong gear. Anyone ever won a legit race in the wrong gear. All i am trying to say is that things are possible whether or not people believe them. I give props to quicksilver if he won a fairly legit race but i am sure if i smoked a z-28 even if i had a head start i would be pretty happy too. But the win all depends on the circumstances, but you guys should be a little nicer cause he was just sharing his experience. Just my 2 cents

What kind of Weak Sauce (tm) is this!? You just changed your story from "thanks to my Roar intake I beat this Z28" to "the Z28 had a driver with no skills". BTW, as much respect as I have for cone-dodgers, just because someone is good in a parking lot doesn't automatically qualify them for 100mph+ maneuvers.

What he didn't see when he "roared" by a 130 was that the driver of the Z28 was talking on his cell in one hand and holding a coffee in the other.

I just want to know, Quicksilver, if you just have the Roar filter or if you have the ram air thing too and if you do how did you get it all to fit. If this thing works I think it would be a nice alternative to a very expensive supercharger.
