For those of you who can remember the 2.6 liter 180hp,225tq, turbo,rwd,fmic,5spd car that dodge put out in the 80's you are the rare few. I just bought 2 of these rare cars. one is nuthing but a parts car an one i will be puting back together and trying to make a street car out of. The 87&88 dodge conquest tsi are my new toys of the week. An i have no idea of how to rebuild this once strong truck motor but with a liltle help for you all in here maybe i can get it going. If anyone knows of any good forums please feel free to let me know. If i had pics i would post them maybe one of you could do that for those who have never seen one of these cars.
thankx guy's

I myself am an avid fan of the turbo dodge scene, my buddy and I have rebuilt his '91 Spirit R/T, and he now owns an '89 Caravan Turbo...I am buying an '86 Omni GLH-T...all of which are cheap, fun, and super tuneable. Before you ask any of us Countour Enthusiats, I suggest you become a member of Turbo Dodge.com, I am there as well, and you will find geniuses of the TD era.

Turbo Dodges I have a 1985 Dodge Lancer ES Turbo. I increased the boost to 10 psi, not exactly fast, but fun to tinker with! The Dodge Conquest was a Mitsubishi coupe with wide tires, I haven't seen one of those in years. The Spirit R/T IS fast. I drove one of those once. I always liked the GLH's too!

I love the Conquest TSi. I know the 4G63 is a common swap. -tropictour

Very popular swap. Easiest way to get some more power, plus there are a lot more options out there for a 4g63 than the standard conquest engine.
