I noticed that my interior trunk lamp does not turn off when I'm driving with the back seats down. Is that normal, if not how to fix that?

You are probably seeing the license plate lights, which, when your illumination is on, you will see. I remember having my 95's seats down (system in the car) and seeing that darn light, asking the same question..

Yup, I did a double take the first time I saw that too.
