I try to do what I can do when I can do it.
Also, if you order directly from Spec, you can get the stage 1 kit without their throwout bearing for $279. Unfortunately, you cant order the one off of Ultrarev without the throwout bearing, so its really up to you.

RamMotorsports will beat the $279 price.
As of today, a SPEC stage 1 from RamMotorsports is $272 + shipping. That gets the clutch to your door in less than a week 99% of the orders.
I've sold SPEC clutches on CEG for over 2 years and have yet to have an unsatisfied customer.
PM me if anyone it interested.

I had the stage 2 in my turbo...worked great and when I pulled it about 5-6 later...didn't look worn at all...
Now I am building a 3L so I bought the spec 3, just because I have it all apart anyway.

Why? I was wondering about the slave cylinders... I just bought a SPEC stage I for my car. Does it come with a new slave cylinder? If so whats wrong with it versus the OEM one.

this has been a highly talked about subject lately. Moral of the story, if you like to pull you tranny out due to a slave failure, sure, go ahead and use the one supplied in the clutch kit. ENSURE YOU HAVE A FORD OEM SLAVE CYLINDER! Originally posted by SHOTIME2669: Originally posted by Goonz SVT: remember to get the OEM Slave Cylinder or Stazi will kill you

I talked to the SPEC sales rep and he told me that they do use the Ford OEM slave. He told me that the reason that people have them fail so early on them is because they are not installed correctly.
Im not saying dont get the Ford stamped one, Im just letting yall know what the guy at SPEC told me when I was on the phone with him.
