Hey guys

Leaving tonight at 8:30 from Ft. Worth and making a pit stop in Tulsa, OK right off 44. Knowing it is July4th weekend coming up, do you think the cops will already be out? I dont speed in Texas, as State Troopers HIDE EVERYWHERE.

I have only driven the turnpike once, can we do 80 and no one care?

Any help from the MO guys would help too since I have never been to MO before...much less drive it.

Thanks and maybe you'll see a black SVT blur by....

Definitely be careful when you hit Tulsa. Around the holidays(when people get time off and drink), they come out like cockroaches.

And we are seeing an increased # of unmarked units. 5 over should keep you safe.

dont speed. taking 2-3 turnpikes thru Oklahoma will damn near break your bank account as it is.

HI-POs seem to like the rest areas along the turdpikes. On the creek sometimes I see a white Volvo wagon. Seen it atleast a dozen times. that thing will get you everytime because the LED bar looks like the typical wagon ski rack. I'd take it easy the last 20 miles of Okla and the first 20 of Mizz.

Just my opinion

yeah I was pulled over and given a warning by a OHP and he pulled from a rest stop. it was thuggish because he was cutting people off to get out on the turnpike. He asked me what kind of car I had.

BTW I was only going 83....so watch it.

I don't know if you're going to be slicing through Kansas or not, but usually here, its OK to go 5 mph over, but 10 mph is risking it.

Also, since there is a LOT of drug traffic along our interstates, the highway patrol is really sensitive to out of state cars driven by young males, and they tend to racially profile. If your a young male Hispanic driving something flashy, be very careful. If you're an older couple driving a Lincoln Towncar, you can probably speed to your heart's content. Our cops make an unbelievable amount of drug arrests on the Interstates, and more often than not, the car's occupants are Mexican.

My In-law clan has their family reunion in Lawton every summer. Her aunt has a nice place over off Cache Rd and her uncle has some land where shoot off firework north of Ft. Sill.
