I want to thank everyone for their replies. I just got back from enlisting, and swearing in as a member of the Marines. I should actually earn the title "Marine" at the beginning of next year. Now i just have to get myself into shape...

A good tip man, learn your General Orders by HEART...BEFORE you go. This will help you in unimaginable ways. There are so many times when you're stressed out and they call you out to recite one of the specific general orders, and it has to be word for word. Start learning them now while doing pullups, situps, and pushups. It'll keep your mind focused to learn, plus getcha ready for the PFT.
