well i have already removed the vents a while back.. and i havent had a problem shutting the trunk.. seeing as it has a hole in the back for that "custom 8in sub hole." before i took them out.. they had water coming from them also.. so i think im gonna seal them just dont kknow how. ill check to see if there is some more leaking.. but where?? behind the license plate?? or around that area???
i know its leaking from the vent holes too.. i see the water marks...

I have the same problem, and I think it might be around the seal of the deck lid istself. I added some extra stripping all along the trunk edges and it seems to be fine now, though I haven't been in a hard long rain for awhile now.

Take a hose without a nozzle and experiment. I'm sure you'll find where.

I stuffed cotton balls in my vents to stop them from rattling. No rattle and no leak (if infact that is where the water is getting into your trunk).

Yah I would...if I had a hose and a nozzle, lol. Just moved here and the apartment people are super anal, you can't wash or work on your car at all in the parking lot, let alone use their stupid hose.

You have one. Stand on the rear bumper and take a leak.
