well i have a wierd problem i just got the car back together and i broke the dang plastic piece pulling the positive wires off the starter. now i lost the plstic piece and cable. i got new battery cable for it and connected the starter up the way i thought it was supposed to be. car turns but wont start. heres my next issue i used test lead and cranked the motor from the solenoid switch and i maybe wrong but the motors turning backwards..... wtf the water pump pulley is turning counter clockwise when standing at the left side of the car.... so looking at the starter theres 3 poles to connect to. .. top, bottom, and small solenoid switch. im using the top pole for my positive....could this be a ground issue im stumped i dont want to risk screwing up me starter.... it works but just backwards. maybe could someone get a picture of this wired the right way and i can use that for reference tomorrow. thanks.
