hey y'all, need a lil help here. Ran a diagnostic and got three codes: 335, 551, and 332. I have tried to understand some of the posts on some of these codes but I am not getting some of the jargon y'all are using . From what I understand, I probably don't need to replace my egr valve just clean out some ports? Could someone explain it in terms I can get lol . Also, since vacuum is involved, could these clogs affect my a/c prob's. A/c prob's are that I don't seem to have a leak, but no cold air(fully charged), and only through defrost vents. I have read about a black hose running off some vacuum assembly next to the engine but haven't seen any burns-holes-kinks or such. Any help in these matters is greatly appreciated. I have to leave for Houston, TX here in few weeks to pick up my wife and son. I would like to have me a/c back and no prob's on the interstates. Thanks.

Btw, I also cleared my codes 2 weeks ago. These are the ones that keep showing. I have cleaned out my intake 3 months ago and still looks pretty good as does the throttle body.

I just had half of my top end off this weekend and found all sorts of bugs. The IMRC: has 3 grommets on the rods - 2 were gone which caused the rod to fall out. The PCV intake elbow had a split which upset the mixture. And the worst was all the gunk in the intakes. Make sure you don't let the cleaner run down into the engine or it will lock up the engine. If you get some in there just remove the spark plugs to release the compression. With the intakes off you can see all the vacuum lines behind them and fix any that are damaged. The EGR vacuum lines are crammed back there too. Most of the EGR problems are clogged ports and broken vacuum lines.

As far as explaining "passages" for the EGR:

The passages that get clogged ar actually part of the Throttle Body's mating surface. You remove the TB, and clean the little "grooves" in the TB, they get filled with gunk.
You'll need a new TB Gasket when performing this task, though.

Also, vacuum problems can affect your A/C, though I don't think the two are tied (but they may be!!) When you have only defrost mode, that is "no vacuum" operation (the default of the car). Search behind the console, by getting on the passenger side, and looking behind the HVAC area for the vacuum lines (hard plastic.. be careful they may be brittle) I suspect you'll find one that popped off the connector behind there.
