I just want to say hello to everyone. Just purchased a 1998.5 contour sport, black, full load,V6, leather, moon roof, 5 speed. I was looking for a good used car second car with some spunk. After reading your forums I decided to but this car. I didn't want a civic or a toyota, too boring. Although the wife still prefers the envoy, so I'll be the major driver. Your forums are awsome. I'll post some pictures shortly.

I sold my 93 Honda Accord for a 95 Contour SE (Duratec, 5-Speed). Most of my friends said I was crazy to give up a Honda for a Ford, but I'm glad that I did. I love that Contour! It is more fun to drive (faster), has more options and gets better gas mileage than the 4 cylinder Honda. How can I complain? It appears to me that a used Contour is one of the best deals out there for the money. I just noticed a 95 Contour SE with 71,000 miles on Ebay for less than $1500. You couldn't touch a 95 Civic or Accord for less than $3500.

They're very addicting...I lose sleep because of them.
Hondas and whatnot are overpriced for the car. Contours are where it's at. Good choice.
