Help! I have takin this dam tranny apart twice in the last two weeks. The second time I RTVed the TOB to the clutch housing and looked for any leaks. I couldn't find any until it was all back together and ran it a little. Then it was on my driveway. What are the possible ways for that tranny fluid to get into the clutch housing? The output shaft bearing doesn't really seal anything right? Its the seal on the TOB correct? My TOB is from SPEC 1 clutch kit...are there any problems with those? Help!!!!

I called SPMotorsports where I got the clutch kit that contained the new TOB. They said that they have had some issues with them and they have no problem replacing it. But they also told me that the TOB in the Contour, Cougar, etc, all are made by the same company. One company owns the patent for that part thus no matter where you get it, SPEC, Ford dealer, Napa, etc...they all come from the same manufacturer. He said their patent runs out next year so then we might see some better quality. Has anyone else ever heard of this?
