ok, i never liked my 5 speed on my cougar, though this is the car a learned stick on and have gotten quite acquainted with it i never like the slowness in shifting and smoothness problem with my tranny, i order the redline mtl and put it in last friday, my trans now when i put it into gear shifts quick, firm, and smooth, i love it! DO THIS TO YOUR STICK NOW! unless u have synchro problems already u will love this stuff.

Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.

fill till it starts to come out of the fill hole, just like a transfer case or a differential.

If you don't know where the drain plug is, how did you let any fluid out, period?
So your basically saying you just added fluid on top of what you already had?
