So for father's day and the next day I was working on a couple things and thought I would show some pictures of the fruits of my labor.

Got my father a gas grille to replace our oldddddddd grille of about 15 years Took about 3 hours and a bloody foot after I dropped a large piece of metal on it. Anyways, here it is.

Secondly, I decided to clay bar my car after heaing lots of friends talk about it and having no idea what the process consisted of. After asking around, I got a clay bar kit and went to work. I'm pretty happy with the results.

That's it, just wanted to share.

If you buy a kit like I did, it's made by Mother's and cost around $20, it gives you a little sheet on how to go about using it. But basically you spray down a "spray and wipe" wax liquid and then rub the clay around the area that you sprayed. The spray sort of acts like a lubricant I guess and eventually all the impurities will be taken up by the bar and you can move onto the next section. Make sure to do it on a cool surface in the shade.
