I've been having a slight skip at idle for a while now, but yesterday it got so bad that the car nearly stalled while sitting on an exit ramp. So far, it only feels like this is happening once the engine warms up, and only at idle. There isn't any noticeable skip/miss under acceleration (except for the usual 3rd gear stutter). I doubt this is an IAC issue, since the car isn't hunting for an idle speed.

Also, it's not throwing any CEL's. Plugs and wires were replaced last summer, and the fuel pump was replaced in December. I'm thinking it's a wire problem, especially since I put Carquest wires in it last time. The question is: if it was an issue with spark, wouldn't I feel a skip under acceleration as well as idle??

Ideas?

Sounds like it might be some sort of vacuum leak.... Perhaps the secondary o-rings?

Secondary O-rings? Care to elaborate? I am kinda having the same problem. RPM's don't drop, just has a slight shudder. Drives fine above idle. I unfortunately have a check engine light. Replaced both Upstream HO2s Sensors, Fuel Filter, and PCV Valve and still have the same problem. I really think its the Intake maniford gasket leaking. Time for the intake overhaul!

In all honestly it doesn't feel like a vaccum leak... but just in case, is there any way to actually check? (beside going through every vaccuum hose and gasket in the engine bay).

I checked the front 3 plugs last night, and all of them look pretty good. I'm going to try to reach the back 3 tonight or tomorrow (last time I did this I had all of the intake manifolds off). The skip sounds like it's coming from the rear bank far right cylinder (#1?).

I just wish it was throwing some codes so I could just hook it up to a scanner and go from there.
