hey guys wondering if you sages out there can direct me to what would cause my steering wheel to vibrate. I got the front bearings changed last summer, so i dont think they would be causing anything like that so im kinda stumped, any one got an idea?

Try getting your tires balanced, also if you have bad ball joints / tie rod ends, or your car is badly out of alignment it can cause that.

an easy test is jack up one side of the front and put your hands at the top and bottom of the wheel, try to wiggle it, if it does your wheel bearing is bad, then put your hands on the side of the wheel, parallel to the ground and wiggle, if it wiggles in excess it's the tie rod/tie rod ends

that is, unless your lug nuts are lose, and it will cause you tire to wobble.

you may also have a bubble in the sidewall of one of your tires, check both sides of the tire on each one in the front.

Does the steering wheel shake under all conditions or just when you brake?
If it's just when you brake, then it's likely that the rotors are warped. A new set of rotors and pads will fix you right up.
You might also check your control arms. I replaced mine after about 70k and I was surprised how wasted the bushings were.
Here are the things you should check:
-Ball joints (on control arm and on tie rod end) -Wheel bearings -Tie Rods (inner and outer) -Control Arms -Wheels for trueness -Rotors
Eliminating these one at a time will reveal the culprit of your shaky shaky.

Im going with Tire on this one, my steering sucked until I rotated my front 2 tires to the back, now I have a nice smooth ride. Your tires could be at fault and you should start there before you start with the bigger stuff.
