Well, I have three TOBs to compare to eachother. The new one, the one from the old tranny and the one from the new. They look identical. I think I might not have torqued the bolts to spec last time. Plus I think I will use some RTV on the back of it.

It that doesn't work, you'll see it on the news when the pull it out of the lake.

When I removed the TOB from my car it had a rubber o-ring type of seal on the back of it. I don't remember if it maybe was part of thr tranny and stuck to the TOB, but I know I did pull it off the TOB. Anyway, I took it off the first and used it on the second and had no troubles.

2 other Cali. folks used RTV with no leaks.
